Our daughter also attends CLAFLIN, perhaps the first Barbadian. We heard about the college from a fellow Barbadian whose children attended State next door.

We chose CLAFLIN for her special area of study because of its size and christian values though we are SDA and not Methodist. Also the school seemed to be on the cutting edge of training students for the Biotech industry.

Perhaps you could pursue a recruitment trip to Barbados in our annual careers fair put on by the BArbados Community College and the SIXTh form schools. Yes we do have free education to university level at any one of the 3 campuses of University of the West Indies, but Barbadians are very tuned to higher education and will seek the best places to provide opportunities for their children to progress through higher education.

Perhaps I can assist you in this regard.

Regards

As an teacher representing Bishop Anstey High School I was very impressed with Claflin. I heard about this university from a friend and did my research and have decided that this is my first choice school.Based on her personality I know that Claflin is the place for her. When she read about the various clubs she can't wait to join your choir. She was also at the reception and found it "COOL".Hope to see you all in 2009.

God Bless

Claflin continues to be number #1 in opportunities for education of the whole individual. Naturally, it makes graduates from Claflin very proud of their Alma Mater. In today's society Claflin stands out as an outstanding institution , just as it always has. Preparing Young Adults for this time in history is a challenge, and Claflin is meeting that challenge. Continue to offer a diverse cirriculum to meet the needs of many indiviuals.
